Brief Description
Victoria University of Wellington offers the Tongarewa Scholarship to celebrate its commitment to the international student community. The scholarship is available for students entering their first year of an undergraduate program or a postgraduate degree program at the University. Recipients are expected to serve as Ambassadors for the University, participating in events or marketing campaigns if requested.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions
NZ$5,000 to NZ$10,000
This is a partial fee-based scholarship, applicable toward your tuition fees for 1 year of study.
Halls of Residence:
Scholarship recipients are guaranteed an offer for accommodation in the Halls of Residence, provided that an accommodation application is received by the Accommodation Service by the required deadline.
Eligibility
Applicants must be international students paying full international fees.
Applicants should be entering their first year of an undergraduate degree or a postgraduate degree.
Offer Requirement: Applicants must have received an offer of place from Victoria University of Wellington (either conditional or unconditional).
