Overview of the Lund Scholarship
Approximately €1.5 million / US $1.8 million is awarded in scholarship grants each year for International Students.
Scholarship grants may cover partial or up to the full tuition fee. The scholarship percentage awarded depends on the budget available to the program/faculty. It needs to reflect on the student's academic level of excellence. Please note that scholarships are toward tuition fees only and that living costs are not covered. Scholarship recipients must still be able to fund their living costs, as per the requirements of the Swedish Migration Agency.

You Can apply to any field of available Program at Lund university.
Eligibility Requirements for Scholarship
You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) and must pay a tuition fee.
You have made a complete application for Bachelor's or Master's level studies at Lund University in a regular application round for a minimum of one semester of study.
BENEFITS OF AWARD for Scholarship Holder
- Full Tuition fee.
- Living costs and other expenses are to be paid by the applicant.
It will be 25%, 50%, and 75% off the tuition fee for the applicant as the university decides.

The Swedish currency is the krona, and SEK 100 is roughly EUR 10 or USD 11. By law, students requiring a residence permit must demonstrate that they have funds of at least SEK 9000 per month of study.
About residence permits and proof of living costs in Sweden
Below is a breakdown of how a monthly budget may look, depending on your specific cost of rent and leisure activities:
Food: SEK 2 300
Accommodation: SEK 3 600–5 200
Course literature: SEK 400–1 000
Miscellaneous expenses, including clothing, mobile phone, leisure, etc.: SEK 1 500
Language Proficiency before Apply Scholarship
You must prove your language ability if you choose Program English or Swedish.

Before applying for the Scholarship
As part of the online scholarship application, you must upload your personal 'scholarship motivation letter' (maximum 600 words) in the application portal. Please note that the scholarship motivation letter differs from any statement of purpose you may be required to submit as part of your program-specific application documents. Your scholarship motivation letter should explain why your academic performance and reasons for applying to Lund University make you a suitable potential recipient for a Lund University Global Scholarship.
