How to apply UK job as a foreigner
For applicants who wish to move to the UK to work (in sectors other than health and care), apply for a Skilled Worker Visa or a Senior or Specialist Worker Visa. To be eligible for a UK skilled worker visa, you must meet the following conditions.
- First, you must receive a formal offer of employment from an employer approved by the UK Home Office and sign an employment contract with the employer. To fulfill this first condition, you must apply for jobs. For that, you can apply for jobs from our website.
- After you submit your application, if employers like your application or CV, they will often invite you for an interview. If you pass the interview and receive a job offer, the employer will issue a 'Certificate of Sponsorship'.
- There is a recommended minimum wage for your job, in order for you to get a work visa you must have a job opportunity with a salary of at least £25,600 per year. This will help you understand whether you can meet the threshold for the job you want to apply for.
- Unless you are from an English-speaking country, you must also meet the minimum English language requirement. If you have a UK degree, you may not need to prove your English level. Otherwise, you must have an IELTS 5.5 or higher.
