Selection Procedure for Danish Scholarship
A degree equivalent to a Danish bachelor's degree
Study elements equivalent to Danish bachelor’s level taken before completing your bachelor's degree - e.g. additional courses where you obtain ECTS/credits taken concurrently with your bachelor's degree or study elements passed at another bachelor's degree that you have not completed. However, we will only include a maximum of 30 ECTS from these studies.
You will not be assessed based on:
Work experience
Motivated application
Courses you have taken after completion of your bachelor's degree
Courses equivalent to studies at Danish master's level
Can I work while studying in Denmark?
According to Denmark's labor law, Non-EU/EEA and non-Nordic Students are allowed to work in Denmark 20 Hours a week from September to May and 37 hours a week from June to August. The minimum salary per working hour is not fully declared in Denmark, but students rake in between 75 – 90 DKK (9-12 USD)an hour.
Living cost in Denmark for international students
As a rough estimate, international students need between 800 – 1,200 EUR/per month to live in Denmark. These costs can go up or down based on your habits: how much you spend on shopping and going out, how much you travel, and so on. You should also expect to pay more if you decide to study in Denmark's capital, Copenhagen.
