Eligibility & Benefits
This entrance scholarship is valued at
$7,500 in the first year and renewable at $4,000 or $3,000 for
second
The third and fourth year with an A- standing (minimum annual
GPA of 10.0). The Muir Entrance Scholarship in Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering will replace any previously offered renewable entrance scholarship.

school extra-curricular and community leadership activities; list only those
activities that have occurred within the last four years; provide dates and estimated
number of hours spent participating in each activity.

2. International Certificate Program (ICP)
Award of Excellence for BGInS
Selection Criteria
Awarded to ten (10) outstanding students entering the
Bachelor of Global and International Studies (BGInS) program at Carleton University this September.
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be a graduate, or currently enrolled, in the
Ottawa-Carleton District School Board ICP Program.
• Applied and been offered admission to the Bachelor of
Global and International Studies (BGInS).
• Entering the first year of the program and pursuing
post-secondary studies for the first time.
• Minimum admission average of 80% required.
• Eligible candidates must submit their application no later
than two years after completion of high school.

3. Buss Family Scholarship
Eligibility Condition
Awarded annually to an outstanding undergraduate student who
is a child of an Alumni of Carleton University and is entering or proceeding
from one year to another in any area of study at Carleton University.
Application is required. Eligible students will have a
parent who is an alumni of Carleton University, and students must demonstrate engagement
in civic, community or university life. Endowed in 2006 by Gerard Buss, BA/73
and his wife Tammy. Revised 2009.
Benefits
This award is valued at $1,200 for the 2022-23 academic
year.
(Please note: Previous recipients of this award are
ineligible for reconsideration)

Enrichment Mini-Courses Program
4. (EMCP) Award of Excellence
Benefits
Value $1000. Up to five (5) scholarships awarded to students
who have participated in the Enrichment Mini-Courses Program prior to entering the first year of an
undergraduate degree program at Carleton University. The scholarships shall be
awarded to the candidates who have the
highest scholastic standing of all candidates who are eligible for this award.
Established in 1990 to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Enrichment
Mini-Course Program.
Eligibility Requirements
• Must have participated in the Enrichment Mini-Courses
Program either at Carleton University, the
University of Ottawa, or La Cite Collegialé.
• Must be admitted to an undergraduate degree program at
Carleton University (fall entry).
• Entering the first year of the program and pursuing
post-secondary studies for the first time.
• Eligible candidates must submit their application no later
than two years after completion of high school.

1. To apply, complete all three sections of this application

2. Please attach a copy of your Enrichment Mini-courses
Program Certificate of Participation.
5. Ronald and Deanna Biggs Scholarship
Scholarship Eligibility Requirement
Awarded annually to an outstanding, full-time undergraduate student entering a Bachelor of Engineering program at Carleton University. Application is required and eligible students must demonstrate a strong academic background and participation in extra-curricular secondary school activities or community service. This scholarship may be continued for three years of full-time enrolment provided the student maintains a GPA of 10.0 or better. Endowed in 2000 by Ronald and Deanna Biggs. Revised 2021.
This entrance scholarship is valued at $6,000 in the first year and renewable at $4,000 or $3,000 for the second, third, and fourth-year with an A- standing (minimum annual GPA of 10.0). The Ronald and Deanna Biggs Entrance Scholarship will replace any previously offered renewable entrance scholarship.

• Student entering the first year of the program
• Pursuing post-secondary studies for the first time

• Demonstrate leadership, community, service, and participation in extra-curricular activities throughout secondary school

6. Application for Law Entrance Scholarship in Architectural Studies
Awarded to an outstanding full-time undergraduate international student entering the Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) program in the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism. Eligible students must be admitted from a high school in Hong Kong/China. Application is required. Endowed in 2018 by Mr. Sau Wang (Alexander) Law, BArch/79.
This award is valued at $10,000 for the 2022-23 academic
year.

The successful candidate will be notified in writing by end of
June
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
• Must be an international student, who is required to have
a valid study permit for Canada
• Applied and has a valid offer of admission to the Bachelor
of Architectural Studies program for Fall 2022
• Entering first year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies program and pursuing post-secondary studies for the first time
