The Bartlett Promise works with donor organizations to increase the number of scholarships they are able to offer. The Aziz Foundation funds tuition fees for master’s scholarships for British Muslim students and/or those who work to support British Muslim communities. They look for scholars who are dedicated to Effective Advocacy and Enhancing Public Perception – facilitating better representation and contribution of Muslims to civil society to combat Islamophobia and positively transform perceptions of British Muslims Community Service and Social Development – raising the aspirations and standards within British Muslim communities Together, They offer The Bartlett Promise Scholarship supported by the Aziz Foundation (also known as The Bartlett Promise – Aziz Foundation scholarship). This award has the same value and conditions as The Bartlett Promise scholarship but you must meet the Aziz Foundation criteria to be considered.

Eligible Criteria
1. Applicant must have a Master's degree or Bachelor's degree
2. No age limit
3. Prove your Muslim citizenship or support Muslim Community
4. Applicant prove financial need as assessed
5. be from a Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic background
6. be from a Gypsy, Roma, or Traveller community
7. Prove an assessed household income of less than £42,875
8. Refugee, asylum seeker or those who have been granted a temporary form of leave as the result of an asylum or human rights application (e.g. limited leave to remain, discretionary leave to remain, humanitarian protection, UASC leave).
They will consider your educational, personal, and financial circumstances. You will need to demonstrate these in your application form.
Candidates applying for a master’s scholarship from The Bartlett Promise must have received an offer from one of The Bartlett schools to study a master’s program in 2022/23. You do not need to have accepted the offer.
The offer may be unconditional (the applicant has met all the requirements to join the program) or conditional (i.e. the offer is conditional on the applicant meeting key requirements such as a 2.1 grade in their undergraduate program). If a shortlisted candidate has a conditional offer, they will need to confirm that they have met the conditions required by 30 July 2022 so that they can be considered for an award.
As part of the application process, shortlisted candidates will be asked to engage in a one-to-one dialogue with the Windsor Fellowship5 to discuss anything else which you feel might support your application. This will not include describing or detailing your academic abilities as these will be assessed by your Bartlett School. The dialogues will be conducted electronically via an appropriate method agreed bet the yen the Windsor Fellowship and the applicant e.g. telephone, Zoom, etc. They will be scheduled by the Windsor Fellowship from 20 to 30 June 2022.
