How to apply for a UK visa individually (without the help of an agent)
This article describes how to apply for a UK student visa ( outside England )
If you’re 16 or above and want to complete your higher studies in the UK, you can apply for a student visa. The earliest you can apply for a visa is 6 months before you start your course. You will generally get a decision on your visa within 3 weeks.
Documents required for applying for a UK student visa
1. Valid Travel document / Passport
2. University acceptance letter
3. Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate, to study certain subjects in the UK
• Details of previous studies
• Details of previous and current employment (if applicable)
• all published papers
• optional modules you might take in a taught Masters (if unsure please include all possible modules)
• your area of research and a description (for research degrees and researchers)
• full names and contact details of 2 referees
• how you will be sponsored whilst in the UK
4. English Language level
• Degree level or above:- equivalent to CEFR level B2
• Below degree level:- CEFR level B1
• If you hold citizenship of one of the following countries, you don’t require English Language proficiency

5. Sufficient funds availability while studying in the UK
• Once you paid, the fees of one academic year to your university or college, the university/college will provide you a payment confirmation letter. You must attach this document to your visa application.
• You need to show monthly living costs for 9 months
£1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses in London
£1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) for courses outside London
How to get a university acceptance letter from a UK University?
First, you have to find a suitable university in the UK.

I encourage you to find a reputed university from there. If you could obtain an acceptance letter from a reputed university, chances are much more in getting the visa. Before applying for a university, please have the following documents with you.
1. High school diploma with transcript
2. Valid Travel Document
3. University diploma or Degree with transcript
4. Completed University application form
5. University application fee
6. Language proficiency – IELTS
If you have the above documents you can apply for a visa online.
